Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small text file that a site leaves in your browser. On your next visit the site reads that file and recognises you, which is why you do not have to sign in again on every page or reselect your language and theme.
This page sets out which cookies are used at www.iycc.com.tr and how you can manage them.
Essential cookies
These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with other sites.
Cookie | What it does | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
Session cookie | Identifies the signed-in member, judge or administrator. It can be read by the server only, never by code running in the browser. | For the session |
Two-step verification cookie | Carries the short wait between the sign-in step and the verification code step. | A few minutes |
| Remembers the language you chose. | 1 year |
| Remembers whether you prefer the light or dark theme. | 1 year |
| Stores your answer to the cookie notice so that it does not reappear on every page. | 1 year |
Optional cookies
Analytics cookies, which measure aggregate figures such as visitor numbers and which pages are read, are loaded only if you consent. If you decline, they are never created. The measurement produces totals; it is not used to identify individual visitors.
Browser storage that is not a cookie
So that an announcement window is not shown over and over during the same visit, a small marker is left in the browser’s own local storage. This is not a cookie: it is never sent to the server and it disappears when browser data is cleared.
Changing your preference
Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer to reopen the notice and change your choice.
You can also manage cookies from your browser. Browser settings let you view cookies, delete them individually or block them entirely. If you block the essential cookies you will not be able to sign in or use the members’ area.
