Four visiting judges will assess the categories
The judges who will officiate at the İstanbul Yorkshire Canary Club 2026 show have been announced. Four judges will take part:
Brian KEENAN
Steve EDMOND
Jason GREEN
George LASKIDIS
Each judge scores only the categories assigned to them. A bird's placing is decided by the judge looking after its category; birds that reach the final round are assessed separately.
A standing practice
Since 2019 the club has worked mainly with visiting judges at its shows. The judges who have officiated so far can be seen on the show result pages.
The scoring criteria — position, feather, head, body, size and condition — are set out in detail on the Standards page.
